Position Overview
We’re seeking a talented Artisan/Carpenter with strong woodworking and fabrication skills—someone who can bring sketches, models, and ideas to life with their hands and imagination. You’ll be working in a collaborative studio environment where creativity, detail, and quality are paramount.
You’ll help fabricate everything from liturgical furniture to immersive themed elements, working closely with designers, sculptors, and fellow makers to turn concepts into reality.

Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or cabinet making.
Loves working with both traditional craft and modern tools (CNC, foam cutting, digital fabrication a plus).
Entrepreneurial spirit: self-motivated, hungry to learn, and willing to introduce new ideas.
Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to think outside the box.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Willingness to learn, take direction, and collaborate.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Bonus: experience with finishing, staining, painting, or scenic work.

Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble custom furniture, themed props, and sacred furnishings.
Build and support small and large-scale prototypes, mock-ups, and final installations.
Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and 3D models to plan materials and methods.
Operate and maintain woodworking tools, CNC machines, and shop equipment.
Travel with the team for on-site installations.
Perform staining, finishing, spraying adhesives, and surface treatments.
Keep a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
Support overall studio production by maintaining equipment and safety standards.

Physical Demands
Standing and tool use for 6–8 hours per day.
Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Working on ladders, scaffolding, or elevated surfaces as needed.

Position Details
Job Type: Full-time & Part-time available
Pay Range: $20.00 – $25.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional weekends during installations)
Location: Shop-based with travel for installations

Requirements:
1–2 years minimum carpentry/woodworking experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle
