Summary:
The Investment Analyst reports to the VP, Investments, and will closely liaise with the FP&A team. The Investment Analyst is responsible for transaction analyses, aircraft/engine evaluations, and developing final investment underwriting. The role synthesizes economic, technical, and contractual terms and conditions into comprehensive transaction models. The position will be cross-functional, drawing on expertise found within different segments of the organization to drive accurate and efficient aviation asset valuation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct transaction and financial modeling, including lease review, cash flow analysis, technical analysis, accounting analysis, asset condition and residual value analysis and review, and credit due diligence
- Develop and participate in deal-specific capital structure modeling and review
- Support development of investment memos and other investor relations material
- Conduct ad-hoc market and portfolio analyses
- Collaborate and support the FP&A team on corporate presentations and monthly and quarterly updates
Requirements:
- Available to work in Denver, Colorado, USA
- 1-3+ years' experience in investment analysis; aviation leasing background preferred
- Degree in finance, statistics, economics, or related field is required
- CFA or Graduate Finance background preferred
- Strong MS Office skillset, especially Excel
- Close attention to detail
- Ready to learn with a background or interest in aviation
- Experience working in a financial planning and analysis capacity is preferred
Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000
