Selby Jennings is partnered with a global holding company looking to bring a Corporate Development Manager level candidate to their team. This company boasts a deep history of global diversifed holdings across Industrials and Energy, and are looking to continue to expand into new sectors.
Ideal candidates have 4-7 years of experience focused on mergers and acquistions in Industrials, Manufacturing, Energy, or similar sectors, with responsibilities in sourcing and executing M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities
M&A Strategy & Execution
- Source and evaluate acquisition targets across industrial sectors.
- Lead financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during deal execution and integration.
Strategic Planning
- Support long-term strategic planning and market analysis.
- Develop investment theses and industry landscapes for target verticals.
Portfolio Management
- Monitor performance of portfolio companies and identify value creation opportunities.
- Assist in divestitures, restructurings, and capital allocation decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership and board meetings.
- Build relationships with bankers, advisors, and industry experts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or management consulting.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Deep understanding of industrial sectors and value drivers.
- Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
