Lockheed Martin, a leader in advancing secure communications and cutting-edge defense technology, is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, PA. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical projects that protect and serve our nation’s defense.
In this position, you will play a key role in software development as part of an Agile Development Team working on satellite communications (SATCOM) systems. You will focus on developing and automating test solutions to ensure robust, secure, and resilient software products that meet high-performance and security standards.
As a Software Systems Engineer You Will
▪️ Design, develop, and test software solutions that meet customer requirements, particularly for secure military communications.
▪️ Develop and execute automated test cases using tools like Cypress and Selenium (for frontend testing) and Postman (for API validation).
▪️ Implement high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across web applications and APIs.
▪️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to requirements creation, test case development, and automated testing efforts.
As part of an Agile Development Team, you will actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your contributions will help maintain the secure and uninterrupted communication capabilities of critical military systems.
This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government security clearance, as the facility requires special access.
