Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to specialize in OpenAI code review. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance the software development process. This role involves developing, testing, and optimizing prompts to interact with OpenAI for code reviews, cataloging the results, and determining the best prompts for a wide range of codebases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and experiment with various prompts to interact with OpenAI for code review purposes.
- Systematically document the outcomes of each prompt, including strengths and weaknesses observed during the code review process.
- Analyze the cataloged results to identify the most effective prompts for different types of code.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with MySQL and database management.
- Understanding of Kubernetes (k8s) and containerization technologies.
- Proven experience in software development and code review processes.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in the context of natural language processing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 2 years of experience, or a Master’s Degree; or equivalent experience is required.
Compensation
The target salary range for this position is 108,800 - 162,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
