Assistant Designer
Closet Factory of New York & Long Island
Closet Factory of NY & Long Island is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Designer to support our Vice President of Sales. This is a hands-on role where you will gain valuable experience in custom design, client relations, and project management.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with our VP of sales to create detailed drawings and specifications for projects, including renovations and new constructions utilizing our CAD software.
- Conducting remeasures and verifying job site dimensions.
- Creating CAD designs and modifying existing CAD drawings as needed.
- Communicating with customers via email, text, and phone.
- Performing job site check-ups to ensure project accuracy and quality.
- Preparing and submitting contracts.
- Uploading and managing necessary project documents to our CRM.
- Assisting our VP of Sales with any additional tasks as needed
- Maintain organized project files and documentation to ensure smooth workflow throughout the design process.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in CAD software (experience in design-related work is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel throughout Long Island and Manhattan as required
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities

Compensation:
$50,000 – $65,000 annually, based on experience.
