Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their travel experiences, ensuring that every aspect of their journey is tailored to their preferences. Your expertise in travel planning, customer service, and sales will be essential in creating memorable experiences for our clients.
Duties
- Engage with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, accommodations, and travel itineraries.
- Book flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements on behalf of clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, destinations, and hospitality services.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the booking process.
- Develop strong relationships with hotels, airlines, and other travel service providers to enhance client offerings.
- Utilize sales techniques to promote special deals and packages to clients.
- Ensure all bookings are processed accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or customer service within the hospitality or travel industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of travel planning processes and hotel accommodations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using booking software and online travel resources is a plus.
