What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of a lean, high-performing team where your work drives real P&L impact:
- Conduct deep research on equities, options, and macro themes
- Build financial models and valuation analyses
- Analyze alternative data to generate investment theses
- Track and interpret market, economic, and company news
- Assist with trade planning, execution, and risk management
- Contribute to idea generation and due diligence
- Present findings in clear, actionable formats for investment committee

Preferred Background
We value talent and drive over pedigree. That said, strong candidates often have:
- Degrees in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, CS, or related fields
- Experience or internships in investment research, trading, or asset management
- Exposure to financial modeling, valuation, or data analysis
- Professional certifications (CFA Level 1+, Certified Futures and Options Analyst (CFOA), CAIA etc.)
- Completion of TrendUp Now’s L3 and SRP program, which demonstrates readiness for this level of professional work and fast-tracks the selection process
