Northern Edge Advisors LLC is a boutique investment bank with a core focus on sell-side financial advisory services for privately owned North American Businesses. We have successfully completed over 150 transactions across a range of industries and sizes and are recognized for our specialized expertise in successfully completing the sale of middle-market companies by our clients, our peers, and our competition.
We are looking for a quantitatively strong junior banker to be responsible for managing financial modeling, document preparation, and transaction management involved in executing on M&A transaction advisory engagements. The Analyst responsibilities include: drafting marketing documents (information memorandum, teaser, management presentation, etc.), financial modeling, presentation development, conducting prospective buyer analyses, supporting client due diligence, researching industry trends, and supporting senior bankers throughout multiple transactions at any one time.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in Business, preferably with a minor in Finance and up to three years of related experience working within an investment bank, M&A corporate development group, or related financial services organization. Ideal candidates should possess experience in performing the key analytical functions involved in an M&A transaction: financial analysis and modeling, valuation, prospective purchaser research and presentation material preparation. In addition, candidates should have experience both in managing the internal elements of a transaction and participating in external meetings with clients and prospective purchasers. The candidate should also possess exceptional writing skills, an understanding of financial statements and accounting, as well as outstanding communication and client management skills.
Position Requirements
