Position Summary
We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager to drive Preciosa’s growth in the U.S. luxury fashion market. In this role, you’ll develop and deepen partnerships with leading designers, fashion houses, ateliers, and luxury accessory brands, bringing world-class, premium shine to the heart of their creations.
The ideal candidate is well-connected within the fashion industry, passionate about design and craftsmanship, and skilled at navigating the fast-moving world of high-end fashion.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, approach, and secure strategic B2B partnerships with luxury designers, fashion houses, ateliers, and accessory brands.
* Develop and execute a tailored go-to-market strategy for the U.S. luxury fashion segment.
* Act as the face of Preciosa within the fashion industry, representing the brand at fashion weeks, industry events, and trade shows.
* Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation to closing — while nurturing long-term client relationships.
* Educate clients and partners on our product portfolio, customization options, and embellishment solutions.
* Provide insights and feedback to internal teams (Product, Marketing, Design) to ensure alignment with industry trends and client needs.
* Report on pipeline, client feedback, and market dynamics to support global strategy development.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Based in the U.S., ideally in New York City.
* University Degree or College
* 2+ years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably within the fashion or design industry.
* Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the luxury fashion ecosystem (designers, product developers, and purchasing managers).
* Energetic, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote-based role.
* Willingness and ability to travel frequently for client visits, events, and fashion industry activations.
* Solid understanding of customization processes, embellishments, and apparel production cycles.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Marketing experience or knowledge of promotional strategies is a strong plus.
