Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Project Manager to lead our software development projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise software solutions.
Duties
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, project implementation, user acceptance testing, and release management.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, TFS, and Jira.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage Kanban boards to ensure efficient workflow and team collaboration.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Utilize cloud computing technologies such as AWS for infrastructure management and deployment.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement disaster recovery plans as necessary.
- Prepare detailed documentation including test cases, project plans, and status reports using Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Engage in negotiation with stakeholders to define project scope and manage changes effectively.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through the application of test-driven development principles.
Experience
- Proven experience in project management within the software development field.
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies including PMBOK and Agile frameworks (SAFe).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL or Oracle databases.
- Experience with IT governance practices and IT infrastructure management is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Pay: $73,684.75 - $100,000.00 per year
