Mechanical Design Engineer
Your future tasks will be:
- Drive design project from concept through installation and lifecycle of product.
- Design new products and equipment within the stated parameters to improve Baader’s market position.
- Ensure component and system designs conform to appropriate safety, industry and government standards.
- Evaluate and provide solutions on equipment failures, customer complaints and manufacturing constraints.
- Create assembly drawings with accompanying bill of material.
Our requirements are:
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Experience with design/engineering of industrial equipment. Food Processing experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work closely with internal field technicians and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple tasks.
- Travel to customer sites as needed.
