We're passionate about creating clothing and graphics that commemorate the park experience with our park visitors, and we’re looking for a Manager of Art and Design to help shape and elevate our artistic identity across our product lines through our retail stores and wholesale partners.
Job Summary:
As Art Director, you will be the visual lead for the brand, responsible for concepting and executing compelling creative across multiple products and customers. You’ll oversee key initiatives including seasonal graphic collections, catalog development, brand identity evolution, and brand design, ensuring everything we create is aligned with our brand values.
This role is ideal for a highly creative, hands-on designer with experience in outdoor, resort, or lifestyle brands and a strong background in both print and embroidery design. Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership
- Lead the visual direction of product graphics, catalog, product launches, and brand moments across all product categories
- Oversee and execute the creative development of lookbooks and print/digital catalogs—working closely with retail and production teams
Catalog Development
- Own the end-to-end design process for seasonal catalogs (concept, layout, art direction, production)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring graphic, technique, and product education to life in catalog format
Assortment Management
- Own the development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring graphic, technique, and product education to life in catalog format
Team & Project Management
- Manage junior designers, freelancers, or agencies when necessary
- Prioritize and juggle multiple design projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality remains high
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and manage creative approvals
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design or art direction, ideally within the outdoor, lifestyle, and/or retail space
- A standout portfolio showcasing catalog work, graphic development, and apparel-related collections
- Deep understanding of visual artistry, typography, product layout, and direction
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with product print production and working with buyers
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with an ability to lead and inspire
- Experience directing catalog development and product photoshoots
- Passion for sustainability, outdoors, and mission-driven branding
