Mirus Capital Advisors, one of the largest independent, middle market investment banking firms in New England, seeks to hire an Analyst in its mergers & acquisitions advisory group.

The position requires an understanding of accounting and corporate finance, modeling and analytical skills, and strong communication skills. You would be working on transactions involving software, consumer products, healthcare, business services, and industrial companies. Your role would be to provide critical research, analysis and general professional support throughout the complex merger and acquisition process. Typical assignments include:
- researching prospective buyers for sell-side clients
- building a detailed financial model
- researching key players in an industry
- summarizing financial and valuation metrics for publicly traded companies and precedent M&A transactions in a client’s industry
- supporting diligence processes and helping clients prepare diligence data rooms
The ideal candidate possesses an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or business and has 0-4 years’ work experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or management consulting. The candidate must be a self-motivated, proactive professional, prepared to work in a fast-moving environment.
