Job Description
The Beyond Collection is seeking a resourceful and detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you’ll execute repeatable marketing tasks with precision—managing social media and email campaigns, capturing content at events, and supporting ongoing marketing initiatives for both our planner and hospitality audiences. The application code word for this role is luxury.
You’ll report directly to our Marketing Manager, and collaborate on campaign execution, content strategy, and internal creative requests—helping ensure consistent brand presence and measurable results across key channels.
This role is based in or near the Raleigh/Durham area, with the expectation to work from the office in Durham Tuesday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
Social & Email Execution
- Bring passion and creativity to our social media presence, helping to implement and evolve strategies across Instagram and LinkedIn that drive engagement, grow our following, and reflect our brand voice.
- Manage and maintain the content calendar, ensuring timely, relevant posts tied to events, community highlights, and partner stories.
- Create and execute repeatable email campaigns that align with event timelines and brand standards, with an eye for continuous improvement.
- Build basic performance reports to monitor engagement, identify trends, and inform future strategy.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply light video editing skills to enhance Reels, Stories, and other social formats.
Visual Content & Asset Creation
- Design on-brand digital assets using Canva for internal projects, partner campaigns, and social
- Support event content capture through photo and video at select events (travel up to 10%)
Community & Partner Support
- Participate in a shared queue to fulfill creative requests and support hotel-paid marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with B2B partners (hotels/resorts) to collect assets for social campaigns, eblasts, and new partner onboarding
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or content coordination
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of working under pressure and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative proficiency with digital design tools (e.g., Adobe, Canva, or similar)
- Familiarity in planning, scheduling, and reviewing social content within social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, etc.)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable with direct client interaction and team collaboration.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support event marketing efforts and capture content.
- A commitment to continuous learning and development in marketing technologies and strategies.
Compensation
- Starting salary: $50,000–$60,000 (commensurate with experience and location)
- Bonus: Eligible for up to 20% annual performance-based bonus
