What To Expect
Remanufacturing is a special operation group of highly specialized engineers who can develop new systems for repair and trouble shoot complex electromechanical assemblies. This position will involve gaining a high-level understanding of various components and their interaction within the vehicle. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing environments, all while maintaining open communication with Field Service Engineers, Product Excellence, Design, and other sustaining engineers to evaluate and resolve issues effectively and efficiently. They will also work to help identify new failure modes, implement corrective/preventive actions, help develop new repair instructions, and work to hand-written and verbal instructions when necessary. Process engineers within the remanufacturing organization are responsible for build and repair instructions to production and ensuring high performance through optimized paths and yield improvement projects.

Develop new process flow, order equipment, and validate before implementing to the operationQuickly drive containment and cohesive counter-measurements into product and processesSummarize data from vehicle logs, service database, repair orders, and production systemsMaintain inventory integrity and repair history through diligent record keeping and adherence to processWork to develop complex and detailed technical documentation and/or verbal and written instructions designed for production useCommunicate product failure details to design, product excellence, and reliability departmentsEnsure proper use and understanding of failure analysis tools and methodologiesSustain and improve Process key performance indicators including first pass yield, scrap rates, and cycle timesWork to prevent and solve safety risks found in the manufacturing environment Manage site daily operation and ensure site meets daily productivity target
What You'll Bring
Degree in Engineering or with equivalent in experienceWorking knowledge of high voltage DC battery systems or basic electronics and DC electrical systemsProficient with hand tools and computer-based tools, including precision measuring equipment, electrical test equipment, and computer databasesAbility to read and understand manufacturing instructions, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawingsProficient with computer tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SQL, and OutlookMust be reliable, innovative, committed, a self-starter, and quality focusedExcellent communication and collaboration skills with a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
Proven ability to operate under pressure with rigid time constraints
Must be able to work and be organized in a fast-paced environment, occasionally requiring extended hours
Able to support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining sustaining support for production
