Opportunity: Real Estate Analyst - Asset Management
A dynamic real estate investment manager, headquartered in Miami, is seeking a motivated Asset Management Analyst to join the growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day management of a portfolio of real estate assets across multiple property types.
- Monitor asset performance: oversee financial reporting, collections, leasing activity, and operating expenses.
- Support the development of business plans, budgets, and forecasts at both asset and portfolio levels.
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance against underwriting and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Support interactions with borrowers, lease negotiations (where relevant), and oversight of property operations or servicers to protect collateral value.
- Prepare regular investor and internal reporting packages, highlighting performance trends, risks, and strategy.
- Collaborate with senior asset and credit managers on capital improvement plans, restructurings, and operational enhancement
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in real estate, asset management, credit/loan management, investment analysis, or related field.
- Strong quantitative skills: financial modeling, budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Understanding of lease terms, property operations, performance metrics, and commercial real estate credit structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex analysis into clear reports and presentations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to learn within a dynamic investment setting.
