Overview
We’re seeking a creative and technically adept 3D Content Creation Specialist to join our growing Marketing & Communications team. This role is ideal for a visual storyteller who thrives at the intersection of 3D modeling, animation, and brand-driven content creation. You’ll play a key role in developing compelling visual assets that showcase our 5D scene reconstruction technology across internal and external channels.
This is a hybrid position, meaning that you will need to live within easy driving distance to our Technology Center in Columbia, Maryland.
What You’ll Do
Visual Content Creation
· Design, model, and animate 3D assets using content from our Product Development (PDev) Team.
· Craft technical and marketing content (blog posts, case studies, press releases, internal docs).
· Create rendered scenes, concept animations, fly-throughs, and product visuals.
· Produce content for use across the corporate website, email campaigns, and social media.
· Refine rendered images and meshes for both internal and customer-facing projects.
Brand & Marketing Support
· Support Quidient’s visual identity through consistent and high-quality content
· Collaborate on brand storytelling initiatives and technical content across a variety of channels
· Assist in the creation of compelling visual assets for marketing collateral, events, and product showcases
· Contribute to cross-platform content strategies for web, video, and social
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Engineering, Product, and PDev to translate complex models into clear and compelling visual stories
· Participate in content planning and creative brainstorms with the broader comms team
· Assist with internal and external presentations, investor materials, and proposal graphics
· Support project tracking and content delivery using tools like Asana, Google Slides, and PowerPoint
What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Animation, 3D Design, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly with video-focused applications like After Effects and Premiere Pro.
· Experience in 3D modeling and/or animation using Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, or similar tools.
· Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling video explainers that seamlessly integrate 3D assets.
· A strong command of video editing principles, storytelling, and post-production techniques.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
· Familiarity with creating and implementing multi-platform social media strategies to drive engagement.
· Hands-on experience with website content management, WordPress is a huge plus.
· Knowledge of email marketing platforms and best practices for creating effective campaigns.
· Experience managing digital advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads or LinkedIn.
· Background in branding, photography, or motion graphics.
· Familiarity with Unreal Engine (especially Unreal 5) or other gaming/real-time rendering engines.
· Meet Quidient, customer, and government security requirements, which may include, but are not limited to a background check, citizenship verification, and Criminal Justice Information Services verification.

Compensation:
· Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
