Position Overview
Dutch Bros is a rapidly growing company on a mission to deliver speed, quality, and service to our customers. The Dutch Bros Treasury team is seeking a Jr. Treasury Analyst to support this mission by ensuring the proper setup of Banking, Merchant Processing, and Cash Handling infrastructure. This role will coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to enable smooth shop openings and ongoing operations. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, positive attitude and communication style, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Director of Treasury Operations.
Job Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with an additional year of experience required; or equivalent work experience required.

Prior retail experience a plus

MS Office Suite experience (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) a plus

Knowledge of banking products and Merchant Processing services a plus

Location Requirement
This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Support Shop Operations
Merchant Processing:

Manage Merchant Identification (MID) creation, and setup of key vendors and service providers to enable payment acceptance at the shops.

Coordinate setup of shop accounts for loyalty and gift card processing.

Submit and track payment device hardware orders for new and existing shop locations.

Coordinate account creation and account management across multiple supplier portals.
Cash Handling:

Support delivery and installation of smart safes to new shops.

Coordinate delivery of consumables (exchange bags, deposit bags, deposit slips etc.) to new and existing shops.

Manage day-to-day coordination with armored car service provider(s).

Manage cash and change order processes for new and existing shops.
Shop Opening Support & Ongoing Communications

Coordinate initial cash till creation for new shops.

Distribute shop opening information, including banking details, cash handling procedures, change order procedures, assigned bookkeeper contacts, and general Treasury reminders.

Serve as the point of contact for Treasury-related onboarding questions from Operators and internal stakeholders.
Project Management

Lead and manage treasury projects related to accepting cash and electronic payments at shops.

Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, IT, Construction, Shop Operations) to support Treasury initiatives and projects.

Develop project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful execution of initiatives.

Track project milestones, risks, and outcomes with clear reporting to leadership.
Internal Controls & Compliance

Enforce treasury policies and procedures across all store operations.

Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, audit standards, and company policies.

In-Office Environment: Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions

Office Conditions: Adaptability to typical office conditions, which may include exposure to air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels

Compensation:
$57,000 - DOE
