THE OPPORTUNITY
The Social Media & Brand Intern will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of social media strategy and development at a thriving retail company. With more than +870K followers on Instagram and +590K followers on TikTok, Adore Me continues to evolve its social media strategy while building the best content showing a unique voice and strong personality.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Help develop content ideas across all social platforms for both video and static content.
- Help produce and edit lo-fi short and long-format video content for social.
- Help conduct analysis in search of insights, trends & opportunities to impact the vision and strategy.
- Help stay current on upcoming trends and influencers that can have an impact on engagement and growth.
- Jump in with ideas, challenge the status quo, and test new, trend-driven approaches that keep our social game fresh and ahead of the curve.
- Work directly with team to leverage dashboards for each of your main missions, ensuring best-in-class analysis and recommendations.
- Benchmark competitors & top players and research to understand best practices in a given field.
- Keep yourself informed of best practices in social media so as not to limit yourself to Instagram.
- Work with a strong team spirit as you interact with multiple stakeholders within the organization.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- A rising senior or recent graduate who has at least one prior internship experience working in a business environment.
- Someone very comfortable with social media who wants to develop their understanding and expertise on social media assets and tools.
- A curious leader who's ready to test the latest brand/social opportunities, reiterating and revising accordingly.
- A highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who's able to build strong relationships in the workplace.
- Someone with strong project management skills & strong organizational/communication skills to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and projects.
- A quick learner who's able to work in a fast-growing start-up environment.
- Someone with exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey recommendations and conclusions to senior leadership.
