Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to partner with our leadership team and help scale our business operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of improving and streamlining small businesses, with both academic credentials and hands-on experience in operations, management, or business administration.
This role requires a sharp operator who can turn vision into execution, someone who thrives in an online, fast-moving environment and can ensure our company runs efficiently, profitably, and with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and improve day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and scalability.
- Design, implement, and refine processes to support sustainable growth in a digital-first consulting business.
- Manage financial performance, budgets, and reporting in collaboration with leadership.
- Build and oversee internal systems for project management, client delivery, and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with the executive team to set strategic goals and translate them into actionable plans.
- Work with external partners, contractors, and service providers to streamline business functions.
- Monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions that improve profitability and client satisfaction.
- Provide leadership, structure, and accountability across the organization as we continue to expand.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (business, operations, or related field required; MBA preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operations, business management, or leadership roles.
- Proven track record of improving processes, systems, and outcomes for small or growing businesses.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets, reporting, and performance metrics.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to align teams and resources.
- Familiarity with online business models, consulting, or digital services preferred.
- Tech-savvy, comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, project management platforms, and CRMs.
- Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on and execution-driven.
