This role is for the ambitious individual who is ready to hit the ground running, establishing a strong presence for Cannaworld and our partner brands in key territories.
The Role: Your Mission
As a Cannaworld Brand Representative, you will be a vital link between the brands we represent and the dispensaries/retail partners in your assigned region. Your primary focus will be on wholesale business development, brand education, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wholesale Business Development: Actively seek out, prospect, and secure new wholesale accounts (dispensaries and licensed retailers) for our diverse portfolio of cannabis brands.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key buyers, managers, and staff at retail locations.
- Brand Advocacy & Education: Become an expert on our clients' products, representing them professionally and conducting engaging in-store education sessions and staff trainings.
- Territory Management: Efficiently manage your assigned territory, planning routes, and tracking sales performance and market trends.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, market feedback, and competitive analysis to the Cannaworld management team.
- Event Support: Participate in trade shows, pop-up events, and in-store promotions as required to drive brand visibility and sales.
Who We're Looking For
- Industry Experience is a Major Plus: Ideally, you already have professional experience within the regulated cannabis industry in New York (e.g., in sales, wholesale, retail, or distribution).
- Road Warrior Mentality: You must be comfortable with extensive travel within your assigned region and possess a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: You are articulate, persuasive, and able to adapt your communication style to different audiences, from retail staff to executive buyers.
- Sales Driven: You are a self-starter with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Professional and Reliable: You are highly organized, punctual, and carry yourself with the utmost professionalism, as you are the face of our agency and our partner brands.
- Knowledgeable: A strong understanding of the New York cannabis market, its regulations, and the diverse product categories (flower, vapes, edibles, concentrates, etc.) is a distinct advantage.
