POSITION TITLE: Product Development Specialist - Brand Partnerships
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Product Development Specialist is responsible for the initiation of technical packages to vendors from prototypes through production. This individual holds responsibility for ensuring the consistency of the fit, specification, quality and construction of the product are up to GUESS standards including working directly with our pattern and sample room teams. Assist in all duties related to any and all functions of the Design department. Responsible for SMS and TOP sample tracking and receiving. Sourcing and development of fabric and trims for all special projects and collaborations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Working with design team to establish specifications and construction requirements for each garment type as per GUESS standards.
Work with Designers to develop tech pack to input into the system. Review and revise the tech pack with the design team when needed.
Assist team in tracking and facilitating approvals for lab dips, strike-offs, and all other approvals during the development process. Set up of seasonal colors, trims, and fabrics in our PLM system.
Highly organized and creating trackers for all SMS and TOP samples. Providing bi weekly updates on all current projects.
EDUCATION: Associate Degree
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2-4 Years

Salary Minimum
$68,640.00
Salary Maximum
$75,000.00
- Base salary will be determined on various factors, including but not limited to, market data, internal equity, relevant background, and experience for the specified role. GUESS?
