The Marketing Coordinator will be part of a collaborative, fast-paced marketing team and should excel in graphic design. A keen interest in creating original content with a consistent cultural and brand voice for our growing firm is essential. The ideal candidate shows an interest in all facets of marketing and business development, including proposal response, internal and external marketing, and events of all sizes. Individuals should exhibit critical thinking skills, creative writing talents, strong collaboration skills, and a meticulous editing mindset. In addition, a deadline-driven mentality is a priority, as are outstanding time management skills. Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities
- Collaborate with all team members within Kaas Wilson Architects’ three regional offices, from leadership and design to marketing and admin (Minneapolis/St. Paul, Charlotte, and Phoenix).
- Assist in creating and maintaining consistency in voice and brand for Kaas Wilson Architects across the nation.
- Lead graphic creation, layout, and design for brand guidelines, credential packages, proposals, and content for all marketing channels. Intermediate/Advanced InDesign and Illustrator desired.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing file structures for digital marketing materials.
- Collaborate with marketing teammates on content creation and the content calendar for all channels and platforms.
- Initiate and explore the appropriate use of AI tools for marketing and business development purposes.
- Collaborate and maintain marketing data spreadsheets.
- Obtain and expand HubSpot knowledge to include contact management, email marketing, and potential business development pipeline use. Collaborate on website functions with the team.
- Display an understanding of monthly marketing and business development budget allocations.
- Coordinate industry award submissions, sponsorship activity, and assist in calendaring deadlines and events.
- Assist in creating and editing the quarterly newsletter. May grow into larger responsibility/collaboration.
- Transfer creative skills across marketing responsibilities and consistently generate ideas.
- Assist in executing internal and external events, including the coordination of season tickets and business development engagements.
- Assist in public relations and advertising projects.
- Assist in printing and delivery of marketing documents, as needed.
- Assist in the professional photography process, as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Other duties as apparent and assigned.

Marketing Coordinator Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications/design or related
- 1 to 3 years relevant experience, preference is given to those with experience in an architecture, engineering, or construction office setting.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Microsoft Office, CRM, Email Marketing Software.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to participate in after-hours business and volunteering events.
