About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Lead Interior Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is creative, responsible, and highly organized, with strong communication skills and a passion for helping clients achieve their dream homes. This role involves managing the design process from start to finish while maintaining empathy, respect, and professionalism in every client and partner interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process for residential projects, ensuring all selections align with client vision, project budget, and construction timelines.
- Create engaging design and mood presentations for client meetings.
- Provide outstanding customer service through clear, respectful, and professional communication via email, text, and phone with clients, builders, construction managers, superintendents, installers, vendors, and team members.
- Use 2020 Design software to produce accurate cabinet layouts, renderings, and elevations.
- Research and source materials and products online, ensuring accuracy in specifications, warranties, and availability.
- Guide clients through the selection process with empathy and creativity, helping them explore options that reflect their style and goals.
- Review and confirm all design details before production and installation.
- Coordinate with vendors and installers to ensure on-time delivery and successful project execution.
- Maintain organized project records and consistent follow-up on all active jobs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interior design, kitchen and bath design, or related field.
- Proficiency with 2020 Design software (required).
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with empathy, respect, and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative, resourceful, and self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Strong online research skills for sourcing products, specifications, and warranties.
- Passion for design and client satisfaction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
