Full-time opportunity for a Marketing Assistant reporting to the Marketing Director

Location: Hybrid – 2 days in Chestnut Hill, MA office / 3 days remote. Days are typically Monday-Tuesday or Tuesday-Wednesday, but this is subject to change.
Position Summary
Sokolove Law is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level role (1+ years experience) that offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of marketing channels and projects. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the marketing team, with opportunities to learn and grow in campaign management, budgeting, and creative development.
We’re looking for someone who is coachable, detail-oriented, and genuinely excited by the work we do—someone who brings curiosity, care, and enthusiasm to every task and takes pride in contributing to meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Materials & Campaign Support
- Assist with maintaining and updating evergreen marketing materials (digital and print).
- Provide backup support for TV marketing tasks, including trafficking logs, plan maintenance, and other production needs.
- Help coordinate the development of marketing assets such as scripts, email campaigns, and social content.
Team & Project Assistance
- Support the marketing team in day-to-day project management and organization.
- Assist in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and processing invoices.
- Help with scheduling, meeting preparation, and capturing/distributing meeting notes.
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with agency partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are on track.
- Gain exposure to campaign reporting and analysis, learning how performance data informs decisions.
- Jump in on special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed, with a “no task too small” mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Eager to learn new skills, tools, and systems; coachable and adaptable.
- Excited by marketing work and motivated to contribute with care, curiosity, and energy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint especially).
- Familiarity with project management or marketing platforms (e.g., Asana, Salesforce, Constant Contact) a plus but not required.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
