We’re looking for a SEM & SEO Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team at Real Time Automation (RTA)—a 30-year-old industrial automation company with a strong digital presence and a reputation for making complex connectivity simple. You’ll jump into a creative department loaded with established SEO foundations, proven strategies and a library of ready-to-use marketing collateral. We’ll provide the training and support you need—but curiosity and initiative are essential.
A day in the life of an RTA [job title here] means getting hands-on with SEO, SEM and PPC campaigns—building, maintaining and optimizing them to generate leads and sharpen our messaging. You’ll write and proofread copy for ads, web pages and promotional materials, working closely with a creative team that values curiosity, creativity and the courage to experiment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Google Ad campaigns, including keyword targeting, ad copy, bidding strategies and audience segmentation
- Conduct keyword/competitive research and technical site audits to improve organic rankings and traffic quality
- Optimize website content, metadata, images, etc. for search engine visibility
- Monitor performance using Google Analytics and SEMrush or other similar tools
- Analyze campaign data, report on KPIs and provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Stay informed on Google algorithm changes, digital ad updates and SEO best practices
- Collaborate with Marketing Team and Team Leaders on future projects
- Help write and proofread copy for ads and other promotional materials
- Assist with event coordination including tradeshows, seminars, webinars, training events, etc.
Qualifications/Experience
- Four-year degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics 4
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush or similar
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail

- Microsoft Office Suite
- B2B or manufacturing experience is a huge benefit but not required.
