Coordinator – Brand Development & Integration
The role of the Corporate Brand organization is to combine a deep understanding of our global consumer with strategies, initiatives and campaigns to both protect and grow our brands and key franchises.
The Coordinator - Brand Development & Integration will play an important role in driving the execution of our enterprise-wide YouTube initiative. The Coordinator support the Brand Development & Integration team as it advances the global YouTube strategy & integration work across The Walt Disney Company’s core brands and franchises. This role will be responsible for working with stakeholders within Corporate and other LOBs to ensure alignment to strategic priorities, YouTube channel structure, content plans, and more.
The Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Specialist & Sr. Manager as well as other team members in implementing strategic changes to The Walt Disney Company’s approach to YouTube.
Responsibilities:
- Business Initiative Execution:
- Support leaders in tracking of deliverables and key milestones
- Help prepare materials
- Maintain and track detailed plans with key stakeholders
- Data input, updates, and maintenance of key documents (presentations, spreadsheets, AirTable forms)
- Assist specialists and managers in strategic deliverables inclusive of copywriting, deck design, and research
- Assist in development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates to leadership & key stakeholders
- Oversee the distribution of YouTube documents to relevant stakeholders as directed by team leadership
- Assists in management of repository of all capability documents across Box, OneDrive/Sharepoint
- Enterprise-wide Prioritization & Strategy Development:
- Track priorities and efforts across branded channels
- Stay abreast of industry trends, audience behavior, and competitive landscape
- Aid Sr. Specialist & Sr. Manager in the coordination of work across internal teams
- Collaboration & communication:
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Help coordinate meetings across key stakeholders’ calendars
- Identify and document best practices for content uploads, metadata management, and legal compliance
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of marketing, communications, strategy, or business management experience; or relevant internship experience
- Can work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and positive attitude and a desire to get things done.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a group as well as independently with little supervision
- Solution-oriented perspective that manages change well
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work within a deadline-oriented environment
- Willingness to try new things and gain new skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and familiarity of YouTube (Formats, Policies, KPIs, etc.) strongly preferred
- Familiarity using Excel, strongly preferred
- Familiarity using Keynote, strong preferred
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- 1+ years of Entertainment experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $65,400 to $79,800 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
