Position Summary
The Printer Operator / Wrap Designer will be responsible for handling all aspects of print production, graphic design, and vinyl installation. The right candidate will be someone who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of the job — designing, printing, cutting, and installing — while maintaining the highest quality standards.
You’ll work closely with our design and installation teams to ensure each project is completed on time and exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain large-format printers (Mimaki, Roland, or similar models)
- Manage daily print production using RasterLink or other RIP software
- Prepare artwork and print files using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Calibrate and monitor color accuracy to ensure consistent print quality
- Cut, weed, and laminate vinyl graphics using plotters and laminators
- Design and layout vehicle wraps, decals, and other print projects
- Apply vinyl wraps on cars, trucks, vans, and trailers with precision and care
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure consistent operation
- Organize and track materials, inks, and supplies used for printing and wrapping
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in print production, sign-making, or vehicle wrapping
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (required)
- Experience with Mimaki printers, RasterLink, and cutting plotters
- Knowledge of vinyl films, substrates, and solvent/UV inks
- Comfortable using both Windows and Mac operating systems
- Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work under deadlines
Preferred:
- Experience with design for commercial fleets or large-scale installations
- Background in color management and print calibration
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Occasional Saturdays depending on workload or project deadlines
- Follow safety and quality control procedures at all times
- Assist in project planning and installation scheduling
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
