LOEWE is seeking a Sales Assistant to support its Saks NYC team. This is a non-selling role which will be responsible for supporting the sales process by processing client transactions, dealing with repairs, exchanges/returns and responding to incoming calls from clients.
Proven customer service skills and experience as a cashier are required. Applicants should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong understanding of client service needs and outstanding clienteling skills, particular attention to details and ability to multitask in a multifaceted environment.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Accurately process client transactions on the POS system
- Collect client information accurately in database
- Verify the price of merchandise as necessary
- Wrap and bag merchandise ensuring the highest standards
- Process returns/exchanges/refunds following the Company policies
- Process all staff sales
- Answer phones and ensure proper customer follow-up
- Register opening/closing, cash reconciliation
- Process all E-reservation and consignments transactions in the system
- Assist VIC/BA clients when the Client Advisor is not in-store to support with the sale
- Take care of all the repairs in the store from beginning to end, collaborating closely with warehouse and HQ
- Support store management with special ad hoc projects as needed
- Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized fashion
- Support sales staff when merchandise is needed, and tidying up after a sale if necessary
- Support BOH team to maintain packaging levels and notify management of replenishments needs
- Ensure that all merchandise is ticketed
- Effectively participate in the timely preparation and completion of all inventories and cycle counts
- Maintain an active role in the inventory reconciliation process
- Support with all CRM activities as well as tracking of assets sent to the stores
- Assist in general housekeeping and the maintenance of the store image
- Exemplify the core values of the brand when assisting customers
Qualifications & Skills:

- Previous experience in a similar role and in a retail setting preferred

The compensation for this position ranges from $19-$23 hourly. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
