About the Role
We’re looking for a hungry, driven sales professional who wants to do more than hit quota—you want to make an impact.
You’ll be joining a small but mighty team that’s reinventing how students discover who they are and what they love. As one of our earliest sales hires, you’ll own the full family admissions process—turning curiosity into commitment and conversations into lifelong transformations.
At Curious Cardinals, sales isn’t about transactions. It’s about storytelling, trust, and changing lives through education. We’re an AI-first company, building thoughtful systems that amplify human connection, not replace it—and we’re looking for someone who shares that curiosity and creativity when it comes to leveraging tools and technology.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Inspire families. Be the first voice parents hear and help them imagine what’s possible for their kids.
- Listen deeply. Understand each family’s goals, fears, and hopes—and connect them with the mentor who will ignite their child’s curiosity.
- Guide with empathy. Lead families through every step of the enrollment process, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and excited.
- Close with confidence. Own the process from initial call to conversion—through HubSpot, phone, and email—and do everything it takes to get families happily to the finish line.
- Embrace an AI-first mindset. Use tools like HubSpot, AI copilots, and automations to streamline workflows, personalize communication, and continuously improve the sales process.
- Shape the playbook. Help refine our scripts, systems, and strategies to build a repeatable, scalable sales engine.
- Collaborate cross-functionally. Work hand-in-hand with operations, marketing, and product to continuously elevate the family experience.
- Build lasting relationships. Turn first-time signups into lifelong champions—upselling deeper engagements and inspiring referrals.
- Drive impact. Every call, every close, every family you help brings us closer to redefining what education can be.
Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, admissions, or customer-facing roles—comfortable running a full sales process and exceeding goals.
- A strong communicator who builds instant rapport and conveys genuine enthusiasm.
- Empathetic and intuitive—you understand what parents and students need to feel safe, inspired, and confident in their educational choices.
- Energized by working in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup where your work directly shapes lives.
- Organized, resourceful, and unafraid to experiment and iterate quickly.
- Passionate about education, mentorship, and helping young people discover their potential.
