EMBREE FINANCIAL (EFG) is a Registered Investment Advisory firm providing Wealth Management and Retirement Plan Services. We assist a wide range of clients across the country in many different stages of life as well as provide institutions and their employees with retirement plan services.
The Associate Portfolio Analyst will play a critical role in supporting EMBREE FINANCIAL Group’s investment team by conducting research, analyzing portfolios, and leveraging portfolio management technology. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to expand their expertise in investment analysis and portfolio construction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support senior team members with day-to-day oversight of client portfolios
· Utilize Tamarac, YCharts, and GeoWealth to analyze investments, run portfolio analytics, and monitor performance
· Conduct investment research on mutual funds, ETFs, equities, and fixed income securities
· Assist with trade execution and portfolio adjustments under the guidance of Director of Investments
· Monitor portfolios for performance, risk exposures, and alignment with client investment objectives
· Contribute to development of model portfolios and assist in manager/fund due diligence
· Maintain data accuracy across portfolio management systems and support team efforts to improve technology integration
· Participate in team initiatives, including investment research projects, portfolio efficiency improvements, and firm-wide investment strategy discussions
· Provide ad hoc research and analysis to support decision-making by the investment committee and senior advisors
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
· 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment research, portfolio analysis, or financial services preferred
· Familiarity with Tamarac, YCharts, and/or GeoWealth strongly preferred
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing independent responsibilities
· Highly self-motivated and results-oriented
· High integrity; ability to adhere to high ethical standards and engender trust
· Ability to thrive in a tight-knit, collegial atmosphere
Reporting Relationship:
The position will report to our Director of Investments.
