SummaryThe AuditBoard Technical Expert is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the AuditBoard platform to support enterprise audit, SOX compliance, risk management, and ESG initiatives. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring the platform delivers maximum value and automation to the organization.
⚙Key Responsibilities - Lead or support AuditBoard module implementations (SOXHUB, OpsAudit, RiskOversight, CrossComply, ESG).
- Configure workflows, templates, and custom fields to meet internal audit and compliance needs.
- Integrate AuditBoard with systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow, and Active Directory.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, data visualizations, and reporting metrics.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal teams, IT, and AuditBoard's customer success/support organization.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Train end users and create documentation for ongoing governance and process improvements.
- Support audit automation, control testing, and data analytics initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in internal audit, SOX, IT risk, or GRC systems.
- Hands-on experience implementing or administering AuditBoard, or similar tools (e.g., Workiva, Archer, MetricStream, ServiceNow GRC).
- Understanding of SOX controls, audit lifecycle, risk frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000, NIST).
- Technical proficiency with APIs, SSO, data mapping, Excel/Power BI, and SQL (basic to intermediate).
- Strong project management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Prior Big 4 or consulting experience implementing GRC systems.
- Familiarity with change management and process documentation.
- AuditBoard certification (if applicable).
- Experience managing multi-entity or enterprise-scale implementations.
