Junior Account Executive (Entry Level)
Location: New York City, NY (4 days in office / 1 remote)
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a motivated and personable Junior Account Executive to join their New York sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who’s eager to learn the art of client relationship management, business development, and account growth. Internship or co-op experience in sales, marketing, communications, or customer service is ideal.
As a Junior Account Executive, you’ll support and manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and outreach to closing and upselling — while developing strong relationships with clients. You’ll partner closely with members and gain hands-on experience building long-term client accounts in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute all stages of the sales process, from lead generation to close
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach
- Support ongoing accounts with upselling and cross-selling to maximize value and retention
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0–2 years of professional experience; sales or client-facing internships a plus
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Competitive, motivated, and eager to learn the fundamentals of consultative selling
- Naturally curious, positive, and resilient — someone who enjoys connecting with people and building relationships
