As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to running demos, managing pilots, structuring deals, and closing revenue. You’re equal parts strategic and scrappy, able to speak intelligently to leaders in fintech, credit, fraud, risk, and operations.
You want to grow fast, be surrounded by exceptional people, and play a meaningful role in scaling a category-defining product from 0 → 100.
You Likely Have:
2–4+ years of experience in SaaS sales, fintech, financial services, or a highly analytical GTM role
A consistent track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets
Ability to run complex consultative sales cycles with technical buyers
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
Comfort navigating ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments
A proactive, self-directed mindset—you don’t wait, you create

Responsibilities:
Own the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, demo, run trials, negotiate, and close
Build and manage a healthy pipeline across SMB, mid-market, and/or enterprise accounts
Execute outbound prospecting sequences to generate new opportunities
Lead discovery conversations to uncover customer pain and align Baselayer’s solutions
Partner with product and engineering to provide customer insights and influence roadmap
Collaborate closely with founders and GTM leadership to refine positioning, messaging, and sales motions
Represent Baselayer with professionalism, intelligence, and thought leadership in the market

Salary Range:
$95k – $145k base + commission | Equity: 0.05% – 0.15%
