Athlete Origin are delighted to be working on behalf of a AI Tech start-up who are seeking to hire a Business Development Rep from an elite sporting background to join their growing team in the US.
Our client is a fast-growing SaaS leader transforming how organisations win business by harnessing the power of generative AI. They’ve built a cutting-edge AI-driven platform that helps enterprise teams craft high-quality bids, proposals, tenders and grant submissions in a fraction of the time it traditionally takes - boosting productivity, compliance and success rates across public and private sector procurement. Trusted by 250+ global customers, the company has also earned top industry awards for ROI, rapid implementation and customer support.
With rapid growth in the UK market, they are now looking to expand their BDR team in the US to scale. With the CEO and other senior figures operating out of the NYC office, the role presents opportunity to learn directly from executive leadership within the business.
What you'll do:
- Generating New Business Leads: Proactively identify and qualify leads using cutting-edge sales tools, contributing directly to the growth and success.
- Prospecting & Research: Develop a deep understanding of potential clients and industries, building relationships with key decision-makers.
- Collaborative Strategy: Partner with senior sales team members to refine communication strategies and develop best practices that drive successful outreach throughout the sales cycle.
- Innovating & Experimenting: Contribute ideas and strategies to improve the sales development process, ensuring we stay ahead in the market.
- Relationship Building: Nurture leads from first contact to qualified opportunity, playing an essential role in their journey with the company.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings, enhancing your own professional network and our brand presence.
- Market Intelligence: Gather insights on trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, helping to shape the sales approach.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track and analyze your outreach campaigns, sharing insights and contributing to team-wide improvements.
What you'll need:
- Sales Enthusiasm: A genuine desire to pursue a career in sales, with a willingness to spend a majority of your time engaging with clients over the phone and via virtual meetings.
- Self-Starter Attitude: The confidence to work autonomously, combined with the initiative to seek out new opportunities and solutions.
- Passion for AI & SaaS: A strong interest in technology, AI, and SaaS solutions, with a desire to be part of a rapidly evolving industry.
- Location: Must be happy to work 3x per week in the vibrant midtown Manhattan office
