About The Role
The Uber Eats Grocery team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Coordinator with Accounting experience. This role is ideal for recent graduates. The successful candidate will assist in day-to-day reporting, invoicing & accounting functions including financial reporting & month-end closing activities.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for partners
- Support month-end financial procedures
- Provide troubleshooting support
- Work collaboratively cross-functionally with reporting, accounts payable & accounts receivable teams to ensure timely payments are made
- Provide administrative support to the team as needed
Basic Qualifications
- Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Communication: Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Basic accounting knowledge: Understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Attention to detail: A high degree of accuracy is crucial for financial record-keeping.
- Problem-solving: An ability to investigate discrepancies and find solutions.
- Degree in Accounting
Preferred Qualifications
- Reporting: Assist senior accounting staff with preparing basic accounts receivable reports, such as aging reports.
- Team-oriented: Willingness to collaborate with other team members in the accounting department
- Experience: Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or customer service role is often beneficial.
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base hourly rate range for this role is USD$31.98 per hour - USD$33.78 per hour. For New York, NY-based roles: The base hourly rate range for this role is USD$35.58 per hour - USD$37.50 per hour. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base hourly rate range for this role is USD$35.58 per hour - USD$37.50 per hour. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
