The RoleThe Sr. Software Engineer will partner in an agile team environment to design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity. Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for producing and explaining solutions in the form of documented system requirements.
LocationThis role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States.
The Main Responsibilities- Collaborate effectively within an Agile Scrum team to offer insights, propose improvements, implement configuration changes, conduct testing, debug issues, and support production enhancements for existing software.
- Works closely with business partners and technical staff to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements
- Collaborates with product developers in an agile team to define and implement effective and efficient automated tests
- Documents own work to promote transparency and reuse
- Builds production-quality enterprise-grade systems that achieve target SLAs for scalability, reliability, and performance on an agreed upon schedule
- Actively engages in the code review process, meticulously documents business requirements, and collaborates closely with developers to implement and rigorously test solutions within the S/4HANA environment.
- Prioritizes and handles multiple concurrent projects and efforts
- Demonstrates accountability for successful completion of assignments and tasks
What We Look For in a Candidate- 6 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience (Computer Science, Accounting, or similar is preferred). 4 years of experience with a master's degree.
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices
- Experience in Agile practices, including planning and grooming, sprint management, daily standup, and retrospective participation
- Proven expertise in S/4HANA modules including FICA, FICO, and Asset Management is essential.
- Experience with WinShuttle, Excel, LSMW, AFO, MDG-F,and Group Reporting is highly preferred.
- Experience in developing scalable high-performance systems to support high data volume processin
- Proficiency in accounting is strongly desired.
- Highly motivated, organized, reliable and detail oriented
- Quick learner and actively seeks out new technology
- Experience in the telecommunications industry a plus
- Strong problem-solving, time management, written and verbal communication skill

CompensationThis information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors

$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA
