A successful candidate will be passionate about advocating for the customer, while also having a business, growth and product-focused perspective. In this role, the individual will work as a “copilot” to our product managers and alongside cross-functional teams to understand key business objectives and customer questions; design creative research approaches that enable our team to move with speed; analyze multiple data sources; and drive insights to action with bold recommendations. This individual should be comfortable translating data into a clear story and presenting out results to stakeholders of all levels. Experience with product research and a range of agile insights tools and approaches will be valuable, as the role supports the development of product roadmaps from trends and ideation through validation and post-launch assessment. This individual will be part of a small but mighty Insights team and should have a ‘roll up your sleeves’ approach.
You will…
- Lead and support a variety of research initiatives including whitespace identification, macro trend analysis, New Product Development Innovation pipeline research, customer segmentation, customer journeys, foundational brand research, competitive landscape, new category launches, product development, etc.
- Act as a copilot to the General Managers and Product Management team in developing and executing product strategies roadmaps 
- Partner with stakeholders from Product, Culinary, Marketing, etc. to gain perspective on customer challenges and cross-functional considerations 
- Translate product and business needs into learning plans, identifying appropriate research methodologies to answer questions with quality and speed
- Analyze and synthesize multiple data sources, determine the key insights and identify business implications and recommendations
- Champion the consumer voice and user experience in creative ways and through excellent storytelling and presentations
- Contribute to the management of our research community, including designing and launching quantitative and unmoderated qualitative surveys, managing outreach to customers, etc.

You have…
- 1-2 years experience in consumer or product insights 
- Experience with a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including moderating in-depth qual interviews and designing and analyzing quantitative survey data
- Understanding of research industry best practices and comfort with weighing the pros and cons of different research approaches 
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research from end to end from design, writing questionnaires and discussion guides, programming and fielding studies, analyzing results, and presenting to stakeholders
- Able to have a thoughtful discussion and recommendation on research design and methodology to address an insights brief
- Passion for driving clear insights paired with business context to drive action
- Bonus: Experience in CPG, D2C, Restaurant/QSR or Retail companies
- Bonus: Experience with various research platforms for both quantitative and qualitative research such as Alchemer, QuestionPro, Recollective, Voxpopme, etc.
