We're currently looking for a proactive Product Development Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our production workflow, helping to bring our designs to life.
Key Responsibilities Impact on Business (i.e. business contribution, nature and scope of responsibility, risk and financial management)
● Understanding product development cycles and adjusting to continually evolving processes
● Ordering samples at different development stages tracking, checking, organizing & archiving samples according to market & brand
● Updating costing in PMR carefully & accurately; calling out margin-concerning styles/groups to SVP & team, with proactive suggestions
● Showing knowledge of materials, identifying content codes in RLM; determining proper duty rates
● Identifying & assigning packaging info by market & brand
● Supporting SVP & cross-functional team’s needs effectively and on time
● Able to prioritize & juggle daily tasks efficiently
● Working closely with overseas vendors & internal cross-functional team for smooth development process Educational Background

● College degree preferred continued — Requirements
● Experience in developing costume jewelry (at least 2-3 years)
● Self-starter and team player
● Must be detail oriented, flexible, and organized
● Must review all prototypes & market samples prior to passing them to internal team
● Ability to learn to identify materials & aesthetic differences between brands and adapt quickly to the role of Product Development Coordinator
● Getting samples on time to meet due dates for multiple phases of development meetings scheduled for internal & external teams (especially for market samples)
● Ability to multitask & prioritize work on a continual basis, and communicate with cross-functional team in a timely manner
● Identifying cost challenges & providing suggestions to maintain margin goals
● Understanding importance of quality issues in production stage; ability to call out issues & suggest possible alternatives in early development stage Other Skills (e.g. IT, language, etc.)
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially in MS Excel General Requirements for Position
