Personal Banker

This personal banker will establish new and increase existing customer account relationships through referrals of commercial and other line of business products and services. This person will proactively engage customers in conversation, assisting with making appropriate product recommendations, opening and servicing basic accounts or referring the customer to a lending officer. Effectively managing existing customer relationships to support the retention and growth of profitable sales of deposit, loan and merchant service products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides remarkable customer service through all customer interactions, opening new accounts, problem resolution, telephone answering, safe deposit access and any other customer service needs.
· Provides operational service, including but not limited to the following: accepting deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, cashing checks within limits and obtaining further authorization when necessary, issuing money orders, cashier’s checks, wire transfers and placing check re-orders.
· Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with co-workers and management.
· Responsible for following proper policies and procedures when processing transactions to protect the bank from financial loss.
· Performs teller duties as needed, while balancing consistently, monitoring cash items, prepare cash shipments, assist in the cash verification process and processing collection items.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High School degree required; Bachelors a plus.
· Minimum of 4 years of experience is preferred.
· Self-motivated and highly organized.
· Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
· Strong business and finance acumen.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
