Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Designer located in Iselin, NJ. The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for the development of mechanical design plans, implementing mechanical engineering concepts, and working on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing mechanical ductwork layouts, piping layouts, system sizing, drafting layouts using CAD software, and supporting senior engineers in various project phases.
Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Building Systems Engineering
- EIT certificate a plus
- Mechanical Design and Mechanical Engineering skills
- Knowledge of HVAC and thermodynamics
- Proficiency in CAD and/or Revit software for drafting and design
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
