Our client, a leading investment firm headquartered in San Francisco, is seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Associate to join their Secondaries & Co-Investments team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting senior deal professionals across all phases of the investment process, including financial analysis, due diligence, and the preparation of investment materials.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including forecasting, valuation, and return analyses
- Conduct industry and market research to support investment theses
- Analyze company performance, product lines, customer and vendor relationships, and competitive dynamics
- Monitor portfolio company performance and provide ongoing analytical support
- Draft and review bid letters, term sheets, and other transaction-related documentation
- Prepare and present materials for internal investment committee discussions
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity, with a focus on co-investments or secondaries
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record in finance, accounting, economics, or business
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities
- Proven expertise in financial statement analysis and corporate finance fundamentals
