Pet Products Sales Representative
Stone Mountain Pet Products (A division of Larson Systems Inc) designs and manufactures commercial kennels, doggy daycare playground equipment, cat condos, room dividers, and other durable solutions for the animal boarding and pet care industry. We are seeking a Pet Products Sales Representative to support business owners in selecting and configuring equipment for their facilities. This position is on-site and reports to the Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with boarding/daycare owners, veterinarians, architectural/construction professionals regarding equipment needs
- Recommend kennel systems, cat condos, playground equipment, and related products
- Conduct regular outbound prospecting to identify new facilities, expansions, or upcoming projects (light-to-moderate cold calling as part of the role)
- Review blueprints, floor plans or room layouts to help determine the right configuration (required)
- Prepare and follow up on quotes
- Respond to inbound leads from the website, email, and marketing outreach
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and track customer interactions
- Coordinate with internal engineering/manufacturing when customization is requested
- Attend 1–3 industry trade shows per year (light but expected travel)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience (inside sales or customer-facing role)
- Ability to read /review blueprints, layouts or floor plans (required)
- Experience working with pet care facilities or other facility-based businesses (strongly preferred)
- Comfort with outbound prospecting and regular phone-based outreach (required)
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication
- Ability to learn product details with provided training
