This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer located in Lathrop, CA. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components, systems, and products. This includes creating detailed drawings and specifications, performing simulations and analyses, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs. The role will also involve troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Remote working is an option in the future.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Design Engineering and Controls Design skills required
- Proficiency in AutoCad MEP and REVIT preferred
- BIM modeling experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience in the fuel oil systems industry is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in Lathrop, CA
Company Description
Fuel Oil Systems is a Design Build company with a heavy focus in Hospital and Data Center back up systems design. We are a custom shop which manufactures our own equipment and have ICC certified installers in house. We also work on specialty fuels such as CNG fuel systems.
