We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of innovative engineering solutions. The successful candidate must possess a strong background in fabrication, mechanical engineering, project management, and systems engineering. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage projects from conception through completion while ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Develop project schedules and manage resources effectively to meet project milestones.
- Implement systems engineering principles in the design and development of products.
- Lead the team in mechanical design tasks, including the use of GD&T for precision engineering.
- Analyze data collected from various sources to inform decision-making processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in engineering methodologies.
- Engage in research activities to stay updated with advancements in quantum engineering and programmable logic controllers.
Experience
- Proven experience in project management within an engineering context in manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with fabrication is required.
- Excellent data analysis skills with a focus on data collection techniques to support engineering initiatives.
