Senior Retirement Investment Manager – Alternative Asset Platform
About the Company
Our client is an established private credit and real estate investment platform focused on delivering secure, yield-driven opportunities to accredited investors. The firm structures fully collateralized, first-lien credit products supported by income-producing commercial real estate. As part of its continued expansion, the company is launching a dedicated Retirement Investment Division to serve the fast-growing Self-Directed IRA (SDIRA) market — an investor base seeking transparent, asset-backed alternatives with consistent income potential.
Position Overview
The Senior Retirement Investment Manager will oversee strategy, partnerships, and investor education for the SDIRA investment channel. This position blends business development, relationship management, and channel marketing, offering the opportunity to build and scale a new division within a growing alternative investment firm.
This role requires a professional who understands the intersection of retirement accounts, private funds, and alternative asset distribution — someone capable of creating strategic relationships while positioning the firm as a leader in the SDIRA space.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage the firm’s SDIRA product line across multiple custodian and trustee platforms.
- Develop strategic partnerships with SDIRA custodians, trust companies, and registered IRA facilitators.
- Secure product listings and placements with top alternative investment and retirement platforms.
- Lead investor education initiatives through webinars, white papers, and advisor-focused content.
- Partner with marketing and compliance teams to produce SEC- and FINRA-aligned materials.
- Monitor engagement, fund inflows, and custodian relationships to inform ongoing growth strategy.
- Serve as an internal expert on retirement-focused alternative investing, helping investors access diversified income strategies.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in SDIRA management, private fund distribution, or alternative asset sales.
- Demonstrated success in developing custodian or trust company partnerships.
- Deep understanding of Reg D 506(c), Reg A+, or similar fund structures.
- Proven ability to communicate complex investment concepts through clear, educational content.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable building relationships in an emerging investment channel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
