What you’ll do

Collaborate with designers to interpret and execute garment designs with precision
Utilize advanced sewing techniques and equipment to construct high-quality garments
Perform alterations and adjustments as needed to ensure perfect fit and finish
Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available
Assist in the manufacturing process by preparing fabrics and patterns for production
Conduct quality control checks on finished products to uphold our standards of excellence
Manage inventory of materials and supplies within the warehouse setting
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously enhance your skills
Manage challenging materials like faux fur, spandex, or specialty textiles, ensuring no damage during cutting or sewing.
Properly align patterns and markings on fur for a consistent and professional look.

Basic qualifications

Proficient in garment construction and sewing techniques
Experience operating various sewing machines and tools effectively

Preferred qualifications

Background in manufacturing or warehouse environments
Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for design aesthetics
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting

FurFuresh is a small, two-person studio founded in 2023. With growing demand, we’re looking for a motivated individual who shares our passion for the art of fursuit making and wants to join an up-and-coming startup with exciting growth potential.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
