Bondi Partners is seeking an Associate to join our fast-growing strategic advisory firm at the critical intersection of policy, politics, and the private sector.

Our Associates are entrepreneurial and creative thinkers who move fast, dive into projects, and help lead on client engagements. Associates work closely with and provide support to Directors and Partners, while also regularly interacting directly with consulting and advocacy clients and helping to manage project objectives, milestones, and deadlines.
To be successful in this role, you should be proactive, able to manage multiple competing priorities, and be adept at managing both upwards and downwards to keep client work and research on track. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to all aspects of the role.
While all of our staff work across multiple clients, projects, and sectors, we are specifically seeking an individual with background knowledge, experience and relationships in the Defense and National Security field, to support our growing business in this area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of client-facing reports, briefings and other research/analytical materials.
- Assist in coordinating and managing consulting projects and campaigns from inception to completion, with a focus on driving outcomes.
- Learn, adopt, and utilize the 'Bondi Perspective' to build client campaigns that support an organization's strategic goals and help to implement that plan with available client resources to achieve success.
- Quickly develop an understanding of client priorities and support clients across a variety of work streams - including strategy, market entry and growth, communications, government, etc.
- Track, synthesize, and share news and policy developments that impact client industries and client needs.
- Provide analysis, recommendations and feedback on complex international and domestic issues, regulations, policies and trends that pertain to clients.
- Conduct research on emerging issues or trends in the United States, Australia and/or within the Indo-Pacific political, national security, regulatory, commercial and economic landscapes.
- Contribute to core firm activities, including business development support, systems and technology required for growing the business.
- Contribute to the drafting and editing of the weekly newsletter and other public facing materials including for social platforms.
- Provide logistical support for events, client meetings, workshops, and events, including scheduling, preparing materials, and taking minutes. Also, updating databases and maintaining client contact lists.
- Provide general support to Bondi Partners leadership as directed.
- Work closely and collaboratively with other team members to ensure client development, project management and analysis is cohesive and comprehensive.
Qualifications:
- Must be located in the Washington, DC area and authorized to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2-4years of professional experience required.
- Experience in consulting, research, analysis, project management, high-level stakeholder/principal engagement, and/or client management required.
- Background in the defense and/or national security field.
