Position Overview
The
Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design, production, and brand application across packaging, point-of sale, sales collateral, and print campaigns.
This role is detail-driven and fast-paced — ideal for a designer who thrives in color systems, dielines, print specs, and mockups but can also bring creative flair to concept development. You will collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and operations teams to deliver packaging and brand materials that look sharp, print perfectly, and connect with consumers across every touchpoint.
Job Responsibilities
Packaging Design & Development:
- Design and execute packaging concepts across Ready®’s full product line (bars, powders, drinks, snacks, etc.) from brainstorming, concepting, prototyping through print production.
- Prepare production-ready files and manage dielines, print specs, and material templates.
- Collaborate with printers and vendors to ensure accurate color, material, and finish representation.
- Support packaging projects.
Print, POS & Sales Materials:
- Design in-store displays, signage, shelf talkers, case packs, and promotional assets for retail and event activations.
- Create visually engaging sales decks and PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
- Ensure brand consistency across all physical and print touchpoints.
Production & File Management:
- Manage organized file structures, naming conventions, and print assets across Ready®’s internal archive.
- Handle versioning and updates for packaging lines, flavor expansions, and print revisions.
- Maintain partner-ready proofs, printer guidelines, and press checks.
Mockups & Prototyping:
- Create high-quality 3D packaging renders or digital mockups for internal and retail presentations.
- Develop physical prototypes and sample packaging for photography, events, or testing.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Partner with marketing, operations, and sales to translate strategy into cohesive visual design.
- Occasionally assist with digital, social, or web assets as needed to support broader brand & 360 marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in CPG, packaging, print, or brand design. Experience with food / product photography is preferred.
Strong understanding of print production, dielines, and packaging processes
Working knowledge of Pantone matching, CMYK/RGB color management, and prepress workflows.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Experience with photo retouching, compositing, and basic color correction.
Familiarity with PowerPoint for design and presentation support.
Comfort with creating 3D mockups or renders (e.g., Photoshop, Dimension, Blender, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and deadline management.
Demonstrated understanding of flexographic, offset lithography, and digital printing processes and their production requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
